Training
(**2010 INFO: VonderLind Morgan training is limited in 2010 to longline training, driving, and desenstizing training ONLY due to trainer is pregnant. No riding training this year...sorry!)
Sarah offers training at VonderLind Morgans in week, two week and 30 day intervals. Training horses are stalled with daily turnout and worked 4 to 6 days a week.
Sarah has worked with many different types of horses. Some of the breeds she has trained include Morgans, Arabians, Tennessee Walking Horses, Quarter Horses, Mules, Belgians and Mustangs to name a few.
Sarah starts off her training with at least 20 to 60 days of longline training and driving, which helps build a great foundation for riding. Sarah trains all of her horses with a Dressage foundation. As each horse moves up the levels of training she braches off to focus on what each horse does best. She never forces a horse into any discipline; she looks at each individual horse's qualities and pursues the discipline of their choice. Sarah has experience in multiple disciplines. These include, but are not limited to; Saddleseat, Driving, Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, and Trail.
Sarah uses sound horsemanship skills, consistency and patience to achieve stress free results. No "30 Day wonders!" Reasonable methods result in lasting results in a safe and secure environment for your horse. A good business reputation does not spring up overnight, but grows slowly and soundly...because it is rooted in the solid ground of client satisfaction.
Sarah enjoys starting young horses as well as re-training so-called "problem horses".
